NORTHERN COLORADO WEDDING DJ & MC

Great Music Is Only Part of Running a Great Reception.

Your reception needs more than speakers and a playlist. It needs clear announcements, well-timed transitions, calm coordination, and someone paying attention to the whole room.

How to Book Your Wedding or Event

1. Look Around

Explore the DJ & MC services, watch a few wedding examples, and visit Wedding Timeline Master to get a feel for Jason’s approach. Write down your questions and decide whether the service seems like a good fit.

2. Ask About Your Date

Call or text 970-325-3745 (send a text), use the availability inquiry form, or email northerncoloradodj@gmail.com with your date, venue or city, and the coverage you need. Jason will check his schedule and confirm availability directly.

3. Talk Through the Details

Ask your questions and discuss the event by email, phone, or a meeting. Once the date, coverage, and terms are agreed, Jason sends an agreement for you to review.

4. Sign the Agreement and Pay the Deposit

Your booking is complete when Jason has your signed agreement and full booking deposit: $500 for reception only or $650 for ceremony and reception.

Planning more than six months ahead? You can reserve the date with a $200 first installment toward the deposit. The signed agreement and full deposit are due no later than six months before the event. Bookings made within six months require the agreement and full deposit at booking. See the full pricing and booking terms.

A Reception That Feels Natural Because Someone Is Running It.

Jason D. Rogers brings more than twenty years of wedding experience to the microphone, the music, and the timeline. The goal is not to make the DJ the center of attention. The goal is to keep the room informed, involved, and ready for what comes next.

Clear MC Work

Jason establishes his role through clear, useful announcements. A brief self-introduction is optional; guests need to know what is happening and what comes next.

Timeline Execution

Formal events, speeches, special dances, and the opening of the dance floor are coordinated as one connected reception, not a stack of unrelated moments.

Room Awareness

Music decisions respond to the guests who are actually in the room while protecting the couple’s priorities and the flow of the night.

FROM THE NOCODJ ARCHIVE

The Timeline, The Introduction, And The Music Work Together.

This introduction and first-dance example shows why reception moments cannot be treated as separate announcements and separate songs. The room needs a clear cue, a clean transition, and music that is ready at the right second.

WHAT YOU GET

DJ And MC Coverage Built Around The Whole Reception.

A calm point person who knows how wedding plans change in real time, and who can keep the room ready for what comes next.

  • Professional wedding DJ and MC coverage for the reception
  • Planning support built around the order and timing of formal events
  • Announcements and introductions with microphone management and vendor coordination
  • Music preparation shaped by highest-priority requests, do-not-play choices, and the guest mix
  • Active room management before and after the dance floor opens

Guest Requests Without Giving Up Control Of The Reception.

Request cards can be placed at guest tables, and guests bring completed cards to the DJ. During dinner or another quieter part of the reception, Jason often circulates, points out the cards, and talks with guests about what they enjoy. It is a quieter, more personal way to learn the room than making one broad request announcement.

A request is useful information, not a promise that a song will be played. Each request is considered alongside the couple’s preferences, the current energy, and where the reception needs to go next.
